The GenCheckr is a credit-card sized tester for tri-level sync genlock signals. It displays timing information, frame-to-frame jitter, and offers multiple test points for benchtop use. It is a great tool for virtual production stage technicians, broadcast technicians, and product developers.
Simply slide the power switch on and the GenCheckr will begin reading any genlock signal attached to it's BNC port. The test points automatically become active at this time.
The integrated 500mah battery will last for over 10 hours of continuous use. To charge the battery, the GenCheckr must be turned on and a USB C cable can be used to charge. The red charge light will turn off when fully charged.
To conserve power, the GenCheckr will automatically power off after 60 seconds. The device can be power cycled to restart. The test points remain active even after automatic power-down, allowing uninterrupted benchtop use.
